Puppy Head Start
The Stay
The First Weeks Done Right
Head Start is ten nights built for baby brains: short sessions, long naps, and zero pressure. Your pup learns the crate as a bedroom, house-training as a rhythm, and humans as the source of every good thing — before bad habits have time to set.
We work through the things new owners lose sleep over: biting and mouthing, overnight crying, jumping, chewing, and the first fear periods. Socialization is deliberate — sounds, surfaces, strangers, traffic, and calm older dogs — filmed daily so you can keep the same program going at home.
Pups go home with a written week-by-week plan through adolescence, because the first month home is where training is usually won or lost. Two go-home lessons teach the whole household the same cues, the same rules, and the same bedtime.

The Stay
How The Ten Nights Run
Nights 1–3 — Safety First
Crate, schedule, and house rhythm. Your pup learns where to sleep, where to potty, and that the crate door opening is the best sound in the world.
Nights 4–7 — Skills Through Play
Name, marker, sit, and come-when-called taught in two-minute games between naps. Mouthing and jumping meet their kind, consistent alternatives.
Nights 8–10 — The World & Handover
Outings for sounds, surfaces, and strangers, filmed for you. Then two lessons at your house so the whole family runs the same program.
Good To Know
Puppy Questions
Eight weeks is when pups leave the litter, and the next month is the steepest learning curve of their lives. A calm, structured start beats a chaotic one — and the daily video means you miss nothing. Pups under eight weeks we do not take; over twenty weeks, Foundations fits better.
Age-appropriate vaccinations for their program dates, per your vet — at minimum the first distemper/parvo series started, plus bordetella where your vet recommends it. Outings are chosen for clean, low-traffic ground until shots are complete.
Yes — bonding is about who feeds, plays, and sleeps nearby after the stay, which is you. What the stay removes is the accidental training: the rehearsed biting, the 3 a.m. parties, the jumping that gets laughed at once and then never unlearns.
