Refresher Stay
The Stay
Back To Graduation Standard
The Refresher is a short tune-up for Fieldstone graduates: five to seven nights that re-sharpen every cue after life knocked them loose. A move, a new baby, a second dog, a long relaxed summer at the lake — dogs slide, households slide faster, and a week here resets both.
Because the foundation is already installed, there is no settling-in curve and no assessment guessing. Your dog moves straight back in with the same trainer, the same cues, and the same house rules, and the week targets exactly what slipped: recall at distance, door manners, leash tension, the place command that quietly evaporated.
You get the daily video like always, a short report on what drifted and why, and a go-home lesson to lock the reset in. Most families book one every year or two — cheaper than retraining, faster than apologizing to the neighbors.

The Week
How The Refresher Runs
Day 1 — Audit
Your dog runs every cue they graduated with, in the house, the yard, and on the street. We film the gaps and build the week around them — you see the before footage that evening.
Days 2–5 — Rebuild
Short sessions re-proof each slipped skill and layer in the new context — the new home’s doors, the baby’s schedule, the second dog’s chaos. Old fluency comes back fast.
Day 6–7 — Hand Back
A go-home lesson transfers the reset to you, with an updated plan page for whatever changed at home. Graduates leave sharper than they arrived — usually.
Good To Know
Refresher Questions
The Refresher is for Fieldstone graduates, because it assumes our cues, our plan, and our video history. Dogs from other programs start with Two-Week Foundations — different systems need a proper install, not a tune-up.
Most graduates never need one. Of those who do, it is usually once — after a move, a new baby, or a new dog — and occasionally as an annual sharpener for high-drive dogs with demanding jobs.
If it is drift — yes, that is the whole point. If it is genuinely new, like reactivity that appeared at maturity, we will tell you at booking and point you at the Reactivity Intensive instead. Same honesty as day one.
